 FAQ's

When will my items ship? TOP
If everything you order is from my front page and you are the first to get to it, your items will be shipped within 2-3 business days.  If you order from gallery pages that means that the item(s) you ordered have previously been sold and will be made to order for you.  These items usually take about a week to be made and put into the mail for you.  Please allow up to 2 weeks though because sometimes I just get swamped.  If anything is different than these times (1-2 weeks) I will let you know when I receive your order!

How much is Shipping? TOP

Domestic US Shipping is $4.00
Canada is $6.00
International is $9.00
International Books are $11.00

Where will you ship? TOP

Everywhere!
Domestic US shipping is $4.00
Canada is $6.00
International shipping is $12.00 USD.
International shipping of books is $15.20.

What payments do you accept? TOP
From the web site I accept credit cards directly (Visa, American Express and Mastercard) and also through PayPal.  All payment information is collected by my shopping cart from mals e-commerce which is a secure payment site.

Checks and money orders are accepted also and must be in US funds on a US bank. For checks and money orders, please go through the shopping cart and then mail your check or money order to:

Lori Greenberg
34522 N. Scottsdale Rd, #D8453
Scottsdale, AZ 85262

You don't need to enter the check number or routing information but going through the shopping cart will alert me to start working on your order while your payment is in transit.

How is my contact information used? TOP
Your shipping information is used to get your products to you.  It will never be sold or shown to anyone else.  On occasion I may send out very pretty postcards to show you what I'm up to but that hasn't happened yet.  I also may email you once a year just to make contact.

How can I keep up on what's new with Lori Greenberg? TOP
There are a couple ways. For more personal info and business chat you can follow my Musings page at my blog page. This won't tell you when there are new specials or unique offers. If you want to be notified by email of new specials and unique offers every week you can join my mailing list.

Do you accept returns? TOP

Yes.  Satisfaction is guaranteed.  Contact for returns must be received within 10 days after you receive your item(s).  All orders can be tracked either from UPS or Stamps.com as to their delivery date if you need to know the date of delivery.

NOTE:  For returns on orders that earned the 30% discount ($500 or more) you may return beads over the amount of $350 (that is what your order would cost after the discount if you bought exactly $500 in beads).  If you go below the $350, the return must be in full and you can re-order the beads that you don't want to return at the regular pricing.

What is lampwork? TOP

Lampwork is the name of the process used to make the glass beads you see on these pages.  It is the melting of rods of colored glass in a torch, around a stainless steel mandrel that, when removed, leaves the hole in the beads.  Of course, it's much more complicated than that but that's the general idea.  Smaller rods of colored glass are applied in a multitude of techniques to achieve the decorative surface effects you see.   All beads are ALL glass.  No paints or other surface decorations have been used in these methods.

What is annealing? TOP

Annealing is the controlled cooling process of the beads.  Just as if you take a hot glass out of the dishwasher and fill it with cool water, the glass will crack, so will glass beads if cooled too quickly.  Although, one difference of cooling beads is that if they are not cooled (annealed) properly, they could break at a later date.  Proper annealing prevents this and ensures that your beads have a long, strong life!  Always find out if the lampwork beads you are buying are annealed!

Do you offer WHOLESALE pricing? TOP

Currently I don't wholesale beads in the customary way. I do have pricing discounts to make beads more affordable for designers and store owners.

If you know what you're looking at, you will know that my pieces are already very reasonably priced. The pricing structure of my bead sets gives you a deeper discount the more beads in a set you buy.  For serious buyers, when you hit $500 you receive an additional 30% discount.

Do you have studio hours open to the public? TOP

Unfortunately, I am not able to accomodate studio visits.  The best time to see my work in person is at one of my shows, especially the studio tour in November.
