Stitched beads are composed of layers of different color transparent glasses that work together yielding custom colors. Added to the mix are layers of custom blended enamels and frits. Each bead is then outlined in black and applied frit for a framed appearance. The term "Stitched" comes from the orange stringer work that is capped off with encased raku-style dots and representing stitching. You can read more about the process which brought me to the stitched beads here, at my blog: Stitched Beads.
Currently there are three shapes of Stitched beads in the catalog, the Modified Triangle, Organic Round and the Rectangle, shown below, with a Heart shape in the works. Approximate sizes include Large (45mm hole to hole x 14mm thick), Medium (35mm hole to hole x 14mm thick) and Small (30mm hole to hole x 14mm thick).
